New Product: Advanced Folders Watch
We are glad to announce new Microsoft® Outlook® 2000/XP plug-in for watching shared folders. This product is intended to help people who have to deal with large number of documents spread over multitude of folders.
AFW features flexible configuration of rules for selecting messages and notes, which is similar to search functionality: several search keyword sets can be specified that should (or should not) appear in various parts (Subject, Body, Sender address, Recipients addresses) of a message. Weights can be assigned to various sets of phrases as well as the threshold for the rule to take effect. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to create rules like “select all messages in given folders that have our product mentioned in the body, but were not written by our staff” or “select all messages with all the words … mentioned in the body of a message, or those that have any of these words in the body of a message”.
The program has various means of notification: information on messages selected can be displayed in a pop-up window allowing preview; a note can be created in special folder containing the given message text and a link to original message.
AFW can be used both for monitoring shared folders on Microsoft Exchange Server and for monitoring personal folders. Also, AFW allows to test applied messages rules on messages in the selected group of folders for given period of time. This feature is most useful in case that you do not remember which one of hundreds of folders contains the message you are looking for and Microsoft Outlook does not support searching groups of folders on current storage.
Advanced Folders Watch trial version will work for 20 days without any limitations. You can download free trial version at MAPILab.Com web site.
