Beta-Testing Program - MAPILab Reports 2008!
The MAPILab company welcomes the interested users to take part in an open testing of beta-version of a new product for getting reports on IT-infrastructure of a company – MAPILab Reports 2008.
Beta-testers should
- get registered and gain access to your personal beta-tester account;
- download and install the beta-version of MAPILab Reports 2008.
For us, the main source of information about the program functioning is program logs. So, we expect you to form at least 10 of 130 reports included in the beta-version. All logs should be sent to us using a special form in your beta-tester account. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that companies or users with more than 10 computers in Active Directory network can take part in this beta-testing only.

Please note:
- MAPILab Reports logs do not contain any private or confidentional information about your company.
- Program beta-testers will be considered those users who provide logs in compliance with the specified requirements.
- For your attention! MAPILab Reports is a beta-version and is not the final version of the product. Therefore the developer does not guarantee an absence of errors that may disrupt the computer's operation.
Consequently, beta-testers use the beta version at their own risk and the MAPILab company bears no responsibility for any consequences arising out of the use of the beta version.
Apart from program logs, we will be happy to get your comments, suggestions and error reports.
Please use special forms in your account. You will be able to discuss all your questions with other
beta-testers and get consultations from MAPILab specialists in a special forum.
Participating in beta-testing enables you to get a number of the following benefits:
- non-authorized distributors and active users will be offered a 30% discount valid during 6 months after the official release of the product;
- all beta-testing participants will get a 50% discount valid until the official release of the product.
- all authorized distributors will be awarded a 30% discount for purchasing MAPILab Reports;
- the most active beta-testers will be granted NFR-licenses for all MAPILab titles including MAPILab Reports;
Information for resellers and affiliates
- Terms and conditions for MAPILab Reports distribution differ from those that are used in the Partner Program (30% discount for all programs/license types). Resellers or affiliates will be given a 15 % discount starting from the second purchase only (0% discount with the first purchase). 30% discount will be offered to those who will sell MAPILab Reports packs to the amount of $5000 (a time period is not limited).
- Participants of the MAPILab Affiliate Program will be offered a fixed fee of $10 for each report pack sold (your revenue will be up to $50 on average). We are ready to consider special terms and conditions for specialized websites but only within the advertising campaign framework.
Why is it necessary to take part in beta-testing?
The beta-testing program is both an exciting opportunity and an important responsibility.
Beta Testers have the greatest opportunity to influence the final implementation of the software and the best chance
of identifying and resolving critical issues before the program is released.
Your active participation and substantive feedback are essential for us. Your comments
and suggestions will help us shape our future program in order to receive the best possible final version.
Can I participate in the Beta-testing program without registration and provide you with my comments in a format other than the specified one?
It is very important for us to know who takes part in our beta-testing in order to provide you with the above mentioned discounts. To handle your feedback which is not given in a suggested format is a time consuming task. Please send your feedback using special forms only.
The MAPILab company guarantees that it won’t pass on your contact details to third parties and it will be used only for contacting you by MAPILab staff regarding the beta-testing program.

- You should delete all tasks that were created by MAPILab Reports Console
- Uninstall the program using Add/Remove Programs, then delete the MAPILab Reports program folder (by default, it is stored here Program Files\MAPILab Ltd\MAPILab Reports 2007 ), if it is not deleted properly
- Delete the MAPILab Reports 2008 folder from the MAPILab Ltd. local profile. It can be found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\MAPILab Ltd in XP
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\MAPILab Ltd in Vista
- Delete MAPILab Reports database from SQL Server (Express) as it is not compatible with new version of the program any longer.
