Q: We would like to purchase your product for one of our customers, however we’re not sure that our other customers will need your other products in the near future. What reseller program should we use?

A: The best choice is to enroll in the ShareIt Partner program and purchase the product using a standard partner discount (30%). Then you can offer this product to your customer using MAPILab’s retail price.

Q: Is there a way to be rewarded either by the individual visitor being redirected to your web site or per download completed using a download link on our web site?

A: There is at the current time such a program available. If it is determined that there is a need for such cooperation, it is possible to create specialized software distribution packages containing your partner code in every registration link. This way, you are rewarded each time your visitor downloads the program and subsequently registers it. Contact us to discuss the details.

Q: Who provides the technical support to end users who purchase your software via the Partner or Affiliate programs?

A: Technical support is provided by our own company specialists. However, if you have the ability to provide better technical support service to our customers (e.g. in your country’s native language, via telephone, or locally) this could be compensated for by changes made to your reseller status.

Q: We would like to distribute the trial versions of your products as part of our own software solution. Is an agreement required between us prior to such a distribution?

A: Our products may be freely distributed without any additional permission, providing the original installation package (.ZIP-archive, installation .EXE or .MSI) is left unchanged. Otherwise, please contact us.

Q: Are there any restrictions on the use of MAPILab materials when promoting company’s products on the market?

A: We greatly appreciate the initiatives of our partners to promote the products of MAPILab Company in the Internet, especially in its local segments (e.g. .de, .ru, .uk, etc). We are always ready to assist in the realization of such initiatives. Nevertheless, there are several restrictions for the MAPILab partners in the field of online-promotion of our products:

It is forbidden to use the trade mark “MAPILab” and trade marks of company’s products as websites names, optimized by the key requests of the users (doorway sites) or promo-sites devoted to the company’s products, in any domain zones.
It is prohibited to independently add the descriptions of company’s products and links to them on any software archives in the Internet without preliminary agreement with MAPILab.

If you plan any promo-actions for MAPILab products, the most sensible suggestion is to get all necessary advices in advance by contacting the MAPILab Partner Program's manager.

Q: We want to register in both your partner and affiliate MAPILab program, so that we can offer MAPILab software products both on our web-site and directly to our clients. Is it possible?

A: Unfortunately, this is not possible. We allow registering either in the partner program or in the affiliate program. Please, choose the program that is a priority for you and participate in it.

Q: How to get affiliate commission from distributed CD-ROMs?

A: MAPILab Ltd. allows you to distribute unmodified copies of software without any limitations. You can include trial versions of our programs into any software packages on floppy disks, CD-ROMs or other media, place them at Internet sites, or distribute them through other networks. Being an affiliate, you can get affiliate commission from each of the purchased copies of the program installed from a CD-ROM or other removable media distributed by you.

The Share-it! registration service (http://www.shareit.com) supports a cookies system which allows you to get affiliate commission when a client makes a purchase of the program within six months. The Share-it! sets a cookie if a customer is redirected to the MAPILab site from your "affiliate's" site. You can place a link for purchasing our program on a CD-ROM or other removable media and when the customer clicks on it - the cookie will be set on the computer and the customer will be redirected to the program purchase page:

A scheme described above works if you have a content which includes a detailed description of the product and where the customer clicked on link to make a purchase. However, if the customer does not make the purchase immediately and install the product for testing (without following the link to purchase), the cookie will not be set and the purchase made directly from the program will not grant you your affiliate commission. To get the commission from such purchases we recomend you to add "external" content to your CD.

Using "external" content on your CD you can set cookies automatically when the customer opens this CD. Please note that it will work only if an Internet connection is established and the cookies are enabled in the system!

You can add the MAPILab Logo or any other graphics from http://www.mapilab.com/resellers/promo.html and download it each time when the CD is started. Include the following code into the CD content:

When the CD is started - the MAPILab Logo will be downloaded from the web-site and displayed on the page. The cookies with your affiliate ID will be set on the computer as well.
