Mail Merge Toolkit 7.5 Released: Save and Reuse Multiple Mailing Configurations
We are pleased to announce the release of Mail Merge Toolkit 7.5, introducing flexible configuration management, enhanced settings options, and several important fixes to improve usability and reliability.
Save Multiple Mailing Configurations
The highlight of version 7.5 is the ability to save current add-in settings as multiple separate configuration items for future use.
A new configuration selection dialog is now displayed before the Mail Merge Toolkit wizard starts, allowing users to quickly choose and apply a previously saved configuration. This enhancement is especially valuable for organizations that regularly perform different types of mailings and need to switch between predefined settings with minimal effort.
More Flexible Application Data Storage
Mail Merge Toolkit now allows users to specify a custom location for User Application Data. This provides greater flexibility for organizations with specific storage policies, roaming profiles, or customized workstation configurations.
Save Password Protection Settings
To simplify recurring mailings with protected attachments, passwords used for attached file protection can now be stored within a configuration item and automatically reused for future mailings. This reduces repetitive setup steps and helps ensure consistent document protection settings.
Improved International Language Support
Version 7.5 resolves an issue affecting the display of Mail Profile and E-mail Account names containing non-Latin (non-ASCII) characters. Users working with localized versions of Microsoft Outlook can now view account information correctly regardless of the language used.
Improved Outlook Contacts Integration
An issue that could prevent existing documents or Microsoft Publisher publications from opening correctly when Mail Merge was launched directly from Outlook Contacts has been fixed, resulting in a smoother workflow and improved reliability.
Mail Merge Toolkit 7.5 is available now. We recommend upgrading to take advantage of the new configuration management capabilities, enhanced settings flexibility, and important reliability improvements included in this release. Newsliste |
