How does MAPILab Rules for Exchange work?

Processing of all messages coming in to the store is carried out by the COM+ application, MAPILab Rules for Exchange. The COM + the application MAPILab Rules for Exchange is the synchronous output agent of events in the Exchange store event sink.

This output agent applies rules to incoming messages until the message begins to exist in the store. Thus, server and client rules of Outlook are executed after MAPILab Rules for Exchange.
