How do I find out the version number of an installed add-in and if there are newer versions available?

You can find out the version number of an installed add-in either in the «About» dialogue box or by clicking «Support Information Link» in «Add and Remove Programs». To do this, open the Add and Remove Programs dialogue box (“Control Panel” \ “Add and Remove Programs”), select the program in the list and click «Support Information».
