Mail Merge Toolkit 7.4 Released: key new features

We are pleased to announce the release of Mail Merge Toolkit 7.4, introducing a new document export workflow, usability improvements, and enhanced stability for Microsoft Word and Publisher users.

Export Personalized Documents Directly to Files

The key enhancement in version 7.4 is the new Export to Individual Files feature. Users can now generate personalized documents based on a Word document or Publisher publication and save them directly to a selected folder in formats such as PDF, DOCX, and others — without configuring email delivery settings.
This new capability is particularly useful when documents need to be distributed through alternative channels, archived, or processed further without sending emails.

Faster Access to Mail Merge Operations

Starting Mail Merge Toolkit from the Windows Program List is now more convenient. An informative launch dialog provides quick links and navigation options to Microsoft Word and Publisher, helping users get started with their mail merge tasks more efficiently.

Improved Export Verification

To simplify the message generation control, Mail Merge Toolkit now displays a complete list of all generated files immediately after the export process is completed. This makes it easier to verify results and ensure that all personalized documents have been created successfully.

Stability Improvements for Microsoft Publisher

Version 7.4 resolves an issue that could cause Microsoft Publisher publications to terminate unexpectedly when processing large recipient lists under certain conditions.

Additional Enhancements

The release also includes multiple minor bug fixes, compatibility improvements, and performance optimizations designed to increase the overall reliability of Mail Merge Toolkit. We recommend all users upgrade to the latest version to benefit from the new export capabilities, improved usability, and enhanced stability.
